Why not Barb as the lowest if I may ask? Rage and go hit stuff, seems like the simplest class to play to me.

I like this summary of each class, it includes a 'difficulty' rating for each:

I don't see a specific rule for this, but I would just let them ignore the restriction of picking a certain number of archetype feats before selecting a new archetype. There's nothing preventing you from picking a 2nd level feat at level 4.

I'd really love to support Paizo and buy all the cool Foundry content, but man 60 bucks is a lot.

Never enough. When I die I want my kids to be burdened with wondering what the heck to do with dad's dozens of boxes of rpg books.

Pathfinder 2e didn't work out well in my main group, so Ive started running Abomination Vaults for my kids. It's a lot of fun but the younger ones drop in and out, so my oldest ends up running all 3 sometimes.

Hadn't heard of Sub stack before but my rss app seems to load them in just fine. Will check them out, thanks!

I love playing solo! It's a different experience versus playing with a group though. Check out Me Myself and Die on YouTube for a good example, although keep in mind he keeps it tightly edited so you don't always see his full thought process.

I really like Pathfinder 2e, and I've been running an Abomination Vaults game for my oldest kid where he's controlling several characters. It's a bit too much for the younger ones, so we play Tiny Dungeon for the family games. My main group is playing Advanced Tiny Dungeons right now, it adds enough crunch to the simplistic Tiny D6 rules to keep it interesting, but it's a bit too simple for my tastes still.

I hadn't heard of Rpg Pub, thanks. While we're talking forums, I do like the RPG Net forums as well though.

And I agree with you about Discord, it's just not the same as a post based system like forums or lemmy.
