My concern is with the words themselves not who they're aimed at.

As an aside you should never consider yourself mediocre. Good people are far from mediocre.

Didn't realize it was the original title.

No it doesn't compare. It can still be hurtful. These aren't mutually exclusive.

While I appreciate the anger please consider that "mediocre " is not a very nice way to phrase this. Also given the recent demographic pole there are many "white" people here who are likely on your side. It particularly hurts when people on your side use language like this.

Also worth noting is that traffic is not made equal. Often 10% of users generate almost all of the content that other users consume.

Reddit has driven away many of its content creators and moderators.

It looks like it'll hammer the server with a lot of requests for no real reason other than vanity.

The real fix would be to make a PR to add an endpoint to Lemmy that returns karma.

Probably any instance with common decency/desire to be good people.

Democratic Socialist. Like George Orwell I despise any sort of authoritarianism and agree that society needs to support a certain standard of living for its people. Democratic socialism gets us there.

On Android you can use UntrackMe. It's on F-Droid.

Yes, Google messed up and now abdicates all responsibility because of how fixes are pushed downstream to users.

I 100% agree with you three hotdogs

Yeah I agree I'm just saying:

  1. If vegans object that's fine/won't affect these products.
  2. No one eating animals today would have any moral conflict about eating these kind of meat. Since they already kill and eat a much more living thing.

The endeavors were already relatively safe. These people pushed the envelope on how unsafe they could make it. There were warning signs, red flags, and a whistleblower.

What they've likely done is set back this type of exploration.
