I'm noticing the same, but at this point I'm not sure if it's a coincidence or something real. Lemmy definitely feels like a breath of fresh air though.

I've been trying to get better about capitalization and stuff like that over the past couple months. Typically I switch styles depending on where I'm typing/who I'm talking to, but the more I think about it, it doesn't really take me any extra time to do things correctly on the first pass.
You should type however you feel most comfortable though, and in whatever way you feel captures your voice!
Are you referring to moderation and stuff like that?
I definitely think it's easier to participate when there isn't so much activity all the time. Things are getting busy on Lemmy, but still nowhere near the speed of the most active communities on Reddit. It actually feels like I can keep up on Lemmy, so I take more time to read through comments.
This probably isn't a good attitude, but I feel hopeless when it comes to the prospect of Trump facing any kind of meaningful consequences for his actions. He's gotten away with too much already, and I have no reason to believe that anyone will start holding him accountable now.
I really hope I'm wrong.
This community browser is pretty helpful. You'll just need to search for the community within your own instance to subscribe, but I think you probably already figured that part out since you're here.
Warlock - I'm mostly addicted to Osmiomancy Gloves. This build is even better after the buffs/fixes to Coldsnap Grenades and Iceflare Bolts.
Titan - hard to beat a good Sunbreaker build. I've been alternating between Synthos (which I find more personally useful) and Phoenix Cradle (when I want to be a better teammate). Honorable mention for Sentinel with Bastion because everybody loves overshields, but I haven't finalized a build yet.
Hunter - Gyrfalcon with Telesto makes a better combo than most people realize. Because of the charge time and the delayed detonation from Telesto, volatile rounds are extremely easy to keep up.
Thanks for providing the Github links!
Aside from team scorched (hey, there was a shader I really wanted a few seasons ago), I haven't touched Crucible much since before Witch Queen. I'm guessing most people don't have quite my aversion to PvP, but it's definitely possible to play Destiny in a completely rewarding way without ever having to play against another human.
Crucible would be missed by some if it left, but I bet there would still be enough of a core audience for Destiny that the game could live on mostly without disruption if PvP moved elsewhere.
