What operating system do you use for your home server? I’m planning to do unraid but what are the other options and why would you pick one or another? in c/main@selfhosted.forum

Debian, I wouldn't pick another one.

What service do you use to send emails from your self hosted apps? I haven't been having luck getting approved. in c/main@selfhosted.forum

I used zoho. $16/yr for mail.mydomain and myname@mydomain set up. Use groups to set up different streams/mailboxes for all the things (gitlab@/cloud@/admin@/etc). It's super easy to point things at.
