Spun rod bearings in my EJ257 (typical), so I’m working on tearing the motor down to the base block to get it sent off and rebuilt. My sti hatch was my daily driver and I haven’t driven it in almost 2 years :’(

It’s current replacement is a 1990 Miata that I’ve been dailying, but it has its own issues lol. I’ve put a lot of work into it and as of now new suspension and a new top is likely what’s next for it, but my car money is focused on the Scoob for now

Yeahhh I’m not the biggest fan of matte cars either. I think satin is a better look. Though, I’m a fan of glossy finishes. Love the plasma blue pearl on my sti
