Wow, this actually worked!

Sorry if it seems like I haven't posted in a while - there were some federation issues with lemmy.ml and lemm.ee, but if you can read this post, then it seems like it's fixed now!

In case this happens again, I've registered an account with lemm.ee so I can post here natively.

Alr-text:

Did you base the saucer shape on pop culture depictions of aliens, or was that stuff based on your ships? Does the rotational symmetry help with ... hey, where are you going?

Are you talking about me, or the person in the photo? If you're talking about the former, then you would be correct.

I guess it's from the people who decided to skip it in theaters and wait for home release.

Handbrake only converts an existing Blu-ray rip to a video format, it doesn't rip DVDs and Blu-rays on its' own.

You can install MakeMKV to rip your discs, then convert them to video files in HandBrake.

Now this is something I've never seen before - more than half of the top 20 selling 4Ks of this week are all new releases!

Though one must wonder how Borderlands managed to get in 3rd place...

We're going to find out...whether we want to or not.

Just updated the post. It's a weird situation - the 4K edition will preserve the original aspect ratio, but the Blu-ray edition crops it to 16:9.

"What's the deal with Blu-ray?"

[–] TheImpressiveX@lemmy.ml 4 points 2 weeks ago

It's a real shame this isn't getting a 4K release...

[–] TheImpressiveX@lemmy.ml 4 points 2 weeks ago

That is correct.
