Love home made sushi! ๐Ÿคค Do you use a bazooka, or talent? We have sushi parties where my wife chops all the junk and makes the rice and we unleash the kids with a bazooka each and then we all chow down on some (sometimes pretty average) sushi!

That's what I reckon! If it didn't have legs, it's not a meat, and if it's not a meat, it's a vegetable, dammit!

Dad's spaghetti (today spaghetti = penne). It was so well received in a camp oven that I've occasionally started doing it at home. It's just a basic, one-pot "trailer park" spaghetti (as my wife would say), but with diced bacon and chilli paste - that makes it gourmette! ๐Ÿ˜œ

I swear we do eat vegetables too, but this is an easy way to feed a mob on a Monday night when grocery trucks haven't been running for 4 days.

Funny that you mentioned nuggets. The missus has a source for factory seconds mcnuggets at $20 for a 3kg (6.6 pound) box. Done in the air fryer they're better than any nugget I've had from actual mcdonalds, and we've yet to figure out why they were rejected from the factory. But yeah, every now and again I really wish I could get a hot pocket!

That's funny, she's always complaining about the things she can't get here that she used in the states! Her biggest gripes that I can think of off the top of my head are butterscotch chips and crescent rolls. But she loves that you can buy pouring custard ready made here.

Is it not already? Or does it need a few more weeks to beat trump's first term?

She was also a pastry chef, and if she's stuck inside for a rainy weekend, you can bet she's going to bake something. This is brownie topped with peanut butter, peanut butter cups, pretzels, and cashews. ๐Ÿฅต

Or, another idea - we stop subsidising private schools and only give public money to public schools? I don't think the private school down the road really needs a fifth auditorium while the kids at the public school are sitting in the library for science class because there's literally nobody to teach it. But I guess we don't want the poors getting educated, can't have my landlords little princes and princesses competing with the peasant class for jobs.

I swear if anyone tells me they're voting LNP I'm going to have a really hard time not just punching them in the face.

No probs! This is her restaurant recipe, so adjust quantities unless you want 2.5 litres of it.

16 cloves garlic, smashed and minced

1 cup chives, minced

1 cup parsley, minced

10 cups mayonnaise

1 cup buttermilk

3 tablespoons dry mustard

6 tablespoons white wine vinegar

6 tablespoons lemon juice

Salt/pepper to taste

Mix!

For chipotle ranch, add 3 tbsp pureed chipotle peppers.

I could eat this stuff with a spoon! (And have, much to my shame...)

Air fryer buffalo wings and onion rings - some comfort food for hunkering down during an indecisive cyclone. Half traditional, with Frank's Red Hot, and half just dry rubbed with Cajun seasoning.

PS - My wife is American and was a chef in Wisconsin for 20 years, so if anyone wants the recipe for the best flipping ranch you'll ever taste, hit me up!

I don't see your case? I'm a strong believer in socialism, but I don't think anyone needs communism. Are you even clear on what you mean by communism?

Looks impressive but super easy - bao buns, precooked pork belly, coleslaw mix and vinaigrette. Holy shit they were good!

I hope we respond by putting tariffs on American pickups. Democratic nations need to cut the US out of the global economy entirely until they learn how to act right.

Apologies if there's any weirdness in this post, it's my first one.
