Cautiously optimistic. Weather is looking pleasant all week. I've managed to get my backlog at work down from about 6 months to 2, so that's a lot less stress.

Prepping for a dirt bike race next month (hare scramble) and it's been 4 years since I have; I'm super out of shape but it'll be fun.

No, I played it at release and was HOOKED. I remember clearing a 3 day holiday weekend so I could play through the whole thing (for the second or third time) in one sitting.

I had somehow missed that a HD remaster was released a couple years ago, so I gave it a shot and got sucked right back in. Still a fantastic game, even if the cut scenes and voice acting are a little dated.

For anyone who hasn't played it, it's abandonware now.

Still on a space game kick. Finished up Freelancer and started playing No Man's Sky's recent "Voyagers" expedition. It's still got over a month left so I highly recommend checking it out if you haven't played the game in a while. Just to see whats new; It's come a long way.

And picked up Hardspace: Shipbreaker on sale for when NMS starts getting monotonous.

Wholeheartedly agree. Beehaw's vibe always felt more like a forum than a feed aggregator. I think that format would fit it better.

Your opinion. But fact is, their choice is why some of us are here. Yes, I would like articles posted to lemmy.world to show up on my all feed here; No, I absolutely would not like to see lemmy.world's entire userbase here. It would overwhelm the small mod team and likely kill the vibe. The slight inconvenience is worth it.

Thanks for explaining that. I’ve been using links like the above to test if one instance is available from another rather than looking through the /instances list. I guess it’s a poor test (and probably not any less work than just checking the lists).

Hang in there. I had all mine pulled a few months ago and after the 2nd or 3rd day my mouth still hurt but I felt so much healthier overall. I lived on smoothies and mashed potatoes that first week. Only regret was not having it done years ago.

It's been a slog with the weather being 105+F outside and 90-95F inside where I have to work. But it's over now. Got a weekend to rest and hide inside playing video games. I feel sorry for my neglected garden but it's been so hot I just can't give it the attention it needs.
