Where I live it's pretty common to use motorbikes and scooters for day to day commute. I've heard people talk about how bad the vibrations from them can be to mechanical watches.
Is it really that bad? Sounds kinda counter productive that these watches that were built for sports like diving or motorsport or were used extensively in the wars of the 20th century can't withstand the vibrations of a motorbike.
Smartwatches should be included and respected in the world of horology. Obviously I love a mechanical watch more than an apple watch or a pixel watch, but I won't go so far as to call them toys or reject wearing them as a lover of watches.
