Fiber internet has spoiled me. 20mb would be unbearably slow, it is shameful that this is even considered to be the standard.

Most of the people I work with in tech (FANG) can barely speak to another human. This must be what non-tech thinks it’s really like.

As an American, I am jealous.

This is how you get a visit from humans at AARO https://www.aaro.mil

I don’t know how it is in Canada but in the US I have been able to call my bank and have the charges reversed. They simply ask “did you attempt to cancel?” And I say “yes, on this date” and they block all future charges and reverse any charges after the date I attempted to cancel.

This “mirror” is actually a big screen. What the reflection is for is so that you observe yourself performing actions, like you would do at the gym. What the screen is for is essentially your own personal trainer in your home. There are thousands of classes/sessions available for various exercises. It does have a web cam as well so you can have an actual personal trainer correct your form, but I have never used that part of it. Honestly it is pretty good, just priced too high for the monthly fees ($45).

I have one of these. It is literally the initial setup screen and it needs internet because all of the workouts are online and many are live. If you don’t want to use it for workouts just turn it off or ignore the message and it will go back to being a mirror in a few minutes.

Well I have primarily owned Radeon cards for my desktops and a few months ago switched to an Nvidia card. I will probably never go back to AMD for GPUs. Nvidia just makes better cards and the drivers are painless to deal with. With AMD it seemed like every driver update broke something or caused random crashes.

This movie helped me to get through a terrible office job I had. I used to watch it at least once a week just for therapy to help me endure it.

Uncapped. I have gigabit fiber internet and no reason to cap. I have some where I have a 50:1 ratio.
