There's plenty of examples of shows that didn't have a great first season that, given the chance, really found their footing later on.

The stakes couldn't be higher! Benefactor Cucumberpatch makes a cameo, but it takes place in the Phase III timeline, so you gotta watch for his cameo in the off-season 4 episode She-Hulk mini series to fully get the context of why he can't help.
