What Disney fails to understand is that Star Wars fits so many genres. It doesn't need to be space opera. That's what the trilogy was, but that's not the whole universe.

People really liked the western. People really liked the spy thriller.

I think people would really like the buddy cop movie. I think people would really like the samurai movie. I think people would really like the creature horror movie.

Wait, are you suggesting people need to bribe the cops to not murder them because the cops are underpaid essenital workers?

Or did you really think this was actually about Amazon delivery drivers and still just had a weird take on it?

Let's just file that plan under "anything but reducing consumption "

Isn't collective punishment against the Geneva Convention?

Meanwhile, in France:

"What's the roundish thing we eat a lot?"

"Apples?"

"No, the one that grows underground."

"Dirt apples?"

ChatGPT is great because you can use it to show a potential employer how good your writing is for that writing job they'll totally pay you to use ChatGPT to do.

It is and always has been racism that has stopped bad writers from getting writing jobs.

I'm just surprised there isn't a shadow industry of selling blood products fed on people altruistically donating for free (like, as far as I can tell, every country with public healthcare does) with corrupt pseudo-legal marketing ensuring that blood products are not sold for profit (because they sell the bag, not the blood, or they sell the service of delivering blood, or some bullshit like that)

Appealing to the highest global polluters by illuminating the damage to third world countries?

It's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off.

Cut your fingernails way too short, then try to pick up something small. Not even with the nail part.

The hard flat back gives your flesh something to press up against when pinching. Imagine pulling a hair out of your arm with your fingers. Easy, right? Now imagine pulling a hair out of your arm with your lips.

As to why they grow and wear out and break, what the hell else should they be made of? Hands take a beating and you're better off with a material that grows back when it's worn away.

And finally, why do we have toenails? Mostly because they used to be leg hands. Your toenails actually grow about 3 times slower than fingernails, so that might be evidence of how much less useful they are to us.

I didn't like this show, but I want a second season so that I could like it. It's obvious that the one season wasn't meant to be considered in isolation.

There's plenty of examples of shows that didn't have a great first season that, given the chance, really found their footing later on.
