This article was an excellent read. I learned more about James Cameron, Titanic, Apollo 13, and Barbie's Fashion Designer than I ever knew in the span of 10 minutes.

This part is freaky:

I agree with Barbara. Fireworks started here on Saturday, they were set off again last night, and it's safe to assume they'll be used again tonight (and tomorrow). Our dog just has to hide for hours under the blankets because there's now this need to set them off for multiple days before (and sometimes after) the 4th.

Any survival games would be great considerations for rounding people up. Terraria, Minecraft, Valheim... too many to name.

I came here to suggest FF14 but GW2 is an excellent choice as well since there's no monthly subscription. There's so much content to check out in both games both solo and as a group.

It was granted an exception due to its accessibility features.

Crosscode is such a great game. I really should get back to that once I'm caught up on a few other titles.

I'm with you. I'll get bored of something like TotK, but if I like the game enough I'll usually return to it in a few months to finish it out. Sidequests are very addicting but boy do I burn myself out!

I tend to primarily play JRPGs and RPGs in general. The Xeno games have resonated strongly with me (all Xenoblade and Xenogears) over the past few years and each game has taken 100-200 hours each to complete. Hard to resist exploring the worlds in games like this and even the silliest sidequests can end up being a blast (and take you to unexplored areas of the map).

I'm happy that they're polishing this game up for folks that may never have played it. There's a chance I may buy it after I've caught up on other games but I'm just as happy knowing that this exists.
