I'll have you know we don't just eat Oreos. That's crazy. I have a (very) well rounded diet of Fritos, Lay's potato chips, nutter butters, sour patch kids... And Oreos.

Yeah if the whole Netflix thing has taught us anything it's that people don't want to change and will put up with being treated like absolute garbage to remain in their comfortable space. Reddit will be fine. But I do hope enough people leave and stay here to start a new thriving community long term.
Was hoping I'd find some love for the bastion ost on here. That thing slaps
Is this for real? I wonder if different people's r/all look different. Mine is a ghost land. I would know something is up instantly. There's like 20 posts on my front page with 0 up votes from random ass subreddits I've never heard of. The content of the posts on the front page is wildly different than normal too.
This feels like when you find a really good smaller streamer and can actually talk to people in the chat and make good friends with some and become part of a cool community where every voice is heard... before the streamer hits it big and the chat scroll is so fast you can't even see your message among the omega luls and kappas and pogchamps and kkonas and the streamer can't possibly respond to anything because there's just too much garbage
Been a while since I played so I suppose things could have changed but I doubt it. You can definitely play it by yourself and likely have a good time but every where you go and everything you do will have that feeling of "designed to be played with multiple people" all over it if that makes sense. The only big downside is you have pretty much no chance against other teams just trying to make things difficult for you. Also piloting a ship is a bit of a pain but yourself but you can just use smaller ships to make it easier.
AFAIK you are correct. I don't think lemmy has an official app and the only 3rd party app that exists of any substance is jerboa so I suppose right now it is kind of the official Android app while mlem is the iOS counterpart. But only because there's nothing else atm
I never would thought I'd pour so many hours into DRG after "just giving it a try" but god I love that game. If you don't rock and stone you ain't coming home.
Man the brutal rng in darkest just makes me never want to touch it again. I know that's a huge part of those kinds of games but in that game in particular in just feels extra painful
Feature not a bug 😏
Yea this would absolutely be awesome. Definitely one of the top requests for me.
I've always wondered where the line is that makes turning the car off more optimal than idling. Another poster talked about upping the time to 5 minutes because of the wear and tear on the engine from starting which I think sounds reasonable although 5 minutes at an idle is a pretty long time lol. The other thing I've always wondered is when it's more efficient to use your AC rather than just roll the windows down cause at a certain speed having the windows down slows the car down more than the energy it saves in not using the AC I would assume.
