I honestly can't tell what your opinion is. Who is Hair Guy? And which course is clear? Assume I'm ignorant and don't know who the players are or what people think of them...

Do you (yes you, you personally) read the name as "Shhh, it just works" or "Shit just works".

I'm leaving reddit permanently, so thanks for maintaining this!

This is great. Now we just need to figure out how to build it into Jerboa.

You can search on the github page where you add requests.

The article is really confusing.

It seems like the government is saying the plant will create 3000 jobs and add $200 billion to the economy (well covering $16 billion).

But, if I'm reading it right the Parliamentary Budget Officer (PBO) says it will be 1400 jobs and add a "small" amount to the economy, though the amount will cover the costs. There was also something about the PBO not necessarily having all the info.

I wish they'd just lay it out with what the two sides are saying instead of just scattered through the article.

Scary. I hope they find her soon, and she's fine.

I saw they charge, looked around a bit for how much, couldn't figure it out and noped out.

Lost my link to the fight cards gallery and the subreddit I got it from is protesting, so I'll come back and add fight cards later if the subreddit comes back.

The article you linked about ethanol specifically says there is more to the story as the authors cherry picked data and made worst case assumptions.

You spend more fossil fuel producing it than you save burning it.

Bit of a cart/horse issue sadly. If the farm machines were burning more ethanol than fossil fuels (or were electric) then this mightn't be the case. :-/ Of course there are other issues with ethanol production too (like erosion from unsustainably growing corn, replacing food crops with fuel crops, etc.)

If we put all of the other environmental factors aside and we didn't use fossil fuels to produce and transport ethanol, then ethanol would be better than fossil fuels in that the net carbon in the atmosphere wouldn't change. That's the goal with ethanol.

With the size of the community here, I wonder if it would make more sense to only mirror memes that have already reached a certain karma threshold. Let the redditors filter out the crap first. Otherwise we're all having to look at everything in new with no chance of good memes bubbling up.

Over time the threshold can be adjusted.

In a minute they'll be sour that there's no remake :-P
