Overcast for iOS is very good, has a fully free tier and it is cheap to support if you want to.

The former is basically just a pre-configured high-end Amiga that runs extremely well through software emulation. It comes with a large selection of software, games and demos to play around with, and Chris Edwards has customized it to an unbelievable degree. Version 3 is the latest.
RiscOS is at least as interesting from a user interface perspective, but perhaps a little less fun in the software department. You know that ARM chip that's in your Pi? That came from the company that also made RiscOS, so this is the original native ARM OS. You might want to watch a little video about it first (there are some great ones on youtube) to understand just how differently it works.
You could try some completely different operating systems like Amiga (PiMiga) or RiscOS to see a different way the world could have gone.
This is the funniest comic I've seen in a while. Suddenly it all clicked into place and we can leave one of gaming's great mysteries in peace. I love how it ties into the eternal confusion.
Green Beret and Ghosts n' Goblins were ridiculously hard. It's funny that we actually found them fun to play. Try going back and reaching the second level without having the attack patterns clearly in memory any more :)
The VERY excellent Pole Position 2 was indeed on C64.
I think I'll play some Street Rod 2 this summer. That was such a fun game that EA has since left touring in the IP vault.
Not sure what she gets from it, but my partner pays for Storygraph because of how bad Goodreads has become.
Do you have Netflix? If yes, there are some great little match-3 games and other laid back titles included in your subscription. Just browse the app on your phone or search for netflix in your app store and explore their other releases.
