Took a minute to figure out how to post here from beehaw but now I'm subscribed. Looking forward to this sub or whatever they are called.

I love this stuff! Humans are capable of so much, it warms my heart when it's used for good.
First time seeing this sub, happy to add a comment. Space is kinda neat.
Remnant is such an underrated game. It's so fun.
Since the space was small, range was very limited. Think like 4-5 cans of food, small amount of toiletries. A pair of socks. Things like that. I did notice the items changed over time so I assume they were being used.
My assumption was always they were meant to help someone through a meal or two. Not food for a week.
Keep in mind these are all assumptions from observations!
Edward scissor hands was just magical to me as a kid.
Around where I live there are a lot of those "little libraries". They are like a big mailbox full of books people can borrow. During the pandemic I started to notice canned goods and toiletries appearing in them. I'm not sure that's exactly what you are asking, but it seemed close.
I do have one on kbin, but I don't use it. I think the kbin interface is way better than Lemmy, but I dig the vibe over here more. No shade to anyone, they are both great. Just personal preference.
Edit - I just read your question and it said beyond. Whoops. I had a mastadon account but I don't like Twitter style social media so it was never used.

Ok, that is super strange. Thanks for sharing.
This is an interesting topic to me. I really wonder if a dedicated Lemmy instance will appear just related to small gaming communities. I miss them too
Agree. I think it's so cool too. I'm excited for the months to come to see the process and interfaces refine more and more.
