This may be off-topic, but please be kind.

I'm moving back to Ontario this month from the UK and will want to buy a mid-range TV (50" or so). Where do people go these days? There must be alternatives to Best Buy.

My concern is related to row of controls at the bottom (count of up and down votes, post time, and number of comments)

Our company took the same approach. Tech was able to demonstrate better productivity by staying remote. It's good to have the data for the business case.
