"Bricking" means rendering a phone permanently unusable other than as an effective brick. If what OP said was true, then OP went through 5 phones before getting it to work.

I've heard people exclaim, "Ahaha" or so before. It's not rare but it's not like it's never occurred.

Oh yeah, I just went through part of this with a friend playing. Not sure that I recommend it, but it's a trip that's certainly creative and has gorgeous water effects in at least one of the artworks.
