I just bought this quartz doxa at an online auction for about 19$ (77PLN) and I really like it but it looks so so small.

The small size is why I like vintge watches and when I read it's 31 mm in diameter I was like "ok, my casio is about the same size, it should be fine". I also own a citizen that is 34 mm and it looks great on my not man sized 6 inch wrist. The seller states this is a mans watch and his women's watches were all below 25mm.

Maybe it seems so small because it's super think (around 5mm i think).

Overall, I like it but I don't want people to think that I'm so desperate that I wear a watch for women.

What do you think? And why did watches get so big over time?
