I felt a little like that. I miss a few of my favorite subs. The “break up” feelings went away when I stopped lurking and started participating.

Die hard Chicago Cubs fan! I’ve been a fan for 10 years now. I’m hoping to see them compete late into October over the next few years.

Yeah, subs need to go dark indefinitely or Reddit’s just going to ride this out.

I’ve been on Mastodon for a little less than a year. It was never really my thing. I like Lemmy much more!

Stardew Valley is my go-to. I found Firewatch really easy to get lost in too.

Completely agree! I was a lurker on Reddit. I’m trying to be more active here. It seems less intimidating than Reddit.

It’s been good so far. I’ve just been lurking, looking at different communities. I’m a long time Reddit user and like others have said, I’m going to miss the really niche subreddits. Hopefully the platform keeps growing!
