I buy my music on BandCamp when I can and physical when I can. I prefer to buy albums on CD, other than Dungeon Synth music (which I prefer to buy on cassette for the sake of consistency). I do also own a number of albums on vinyl and/or cassette, most of the time because it is the only format I can get a physical copy in. I keep digital copies of all my music in FLAC format both on my desktop and on my jellyfin server.

Personally, I still prefer PragmataPro (tho I do admit it is a very expensive font), but this does look pretty good
As far as artists who primarily make synthwave:
Dance With The Dead, FM-84, Gunship, Lazerhawk, Magic Sword, and Miami Nights 1984
I'm also a big fan of Erang (he mostly makes Dungeon Synth music, but he's got a couple of synthwave albums, namely Anti Future and Songs of Scars
personally, I'm looking forward to the new album from George Clanton, I only recently found out about him and I've definitely liked what I've heard so far of his new album; I'm also looking forward to Act 3 from The Protomen, whenever that ends up happening (it's been over a decade since Act 2 came out IIRC, which is significantly longer than I've known about them, but I've gotten to be quite the fan of them over the years)
Lemmy is not my first time on the fediverse, nor is this my first time on Lemmy. I got my start with Mastodon a few years ago and slowly lost interest. A few months ago I found out about CalcKey and joined an instance of that. Now with the reddit situation I have ended up also joining the Lemmy server run by the same people who run the CalcKey instance I'm on (I've got the same username on both CalcKey and here on Lemmy)
I mostly use Arch Linux, as the customizability and package selection is excellent.
On the rare occasion I need to use a piece of software that doesn't play nicely with Linux (even with Wine/Proton), I boot up onto a secondary drive that has Windows 10 installed on it.
