Yes if you open the hamburger menu on the top left to open settings there is a box to tick to hide posts that you've already read

I miss Sync already, that was a great app

If you press on the little hamburger menu on the top left next to All(new) you should see the settings menu on the left

There is an option to hide posts that you've already read in settings, I know that's not exactly the same thing, and I haven't tested it out, but that might help solve the problem of seeing the same posts every time we open the app

I'm staying, the Fediverse is a new realm, and I get to be a part of building it

I've been noticing that as well, I've been sorting by All, New each time and Jerboar gives me updated posts, but default seems to be the pinned posts in my instance

I'll never tell :P BTW
