Vimeo for YouTube, for example - Vimeo has a fraction of the content and targets a much different audience and use case. If the content I want to see is on YT and not on Vimeo, it's not really a practical switch. But the real sticking point for me is the smooth interoperability of Google products. I just don't think I could give that up, unfortunately (and they know and exploit that fact).
