It is pretty common on domestic flights. The last 5 or 6 I've been on have had front boarding via the jet bridge and rear boarding via stairs. All the other domestic flights were doing it that way that I could see too. I think they don't do rear boarding if it's raining. It doesn't help much as there is always someone who boards via the wrong door and fucks it up for everyone else. Generally the same kind of person every time too.
It's an even simpler no vote from me: I am opposed to any ethnicity-based segregation of government.
I understand a lot of the intent of the people wanting to vote yes but this is too important a principle to violate for me. I would of course vote for a constitutional voice style taskforce on eliminating pokies or tackling DV - both areas where indigenous people suffer; but so do many other Australians.
Do you have a link to the ACTs approach? Quite keen to see how they've gone about it and reading the primary legislation is a bit dry for me
I would be keen to see cats moved into the same category as rabbits. Practically speaking, you'd grandfather the existing pets, but once their natural lifespans were over, no new ones could be registered as pets.
I run two entirely separate phones, one for work and one for real life. I tell my partner that my second phone is for my secret girlfriend, just to sound interesting and dangerous but it's really for Teams and email
I'll join any one that doesn't behave totally Americanised in shutting down discourse beyond nodding along with whatever political thing is being posted for agreement with.
The exception to this is I would welcome heavy handed censorship of the word "Parma" and all it implies
"autonomy, consent and safety" is a great principle. Shame certain groups are allowed to slip by this benchmark in Australia due to their culture/religion
