I am a college student who is on the move regularly (spending some time at home during holidays and couple months at Uni) and have some couple of watches in collection. But the issue is I just keep them in the shelf or in my bag... Which is hurting them.

How do you suggest one should store his/her watches? (keeping in mind money, portability, usefulness)

Take a cup, fill with water, submerge said watch and freeze. Cryogenically store them lol

Or…. Get a $30 watch roll and store them properly

Sitting on a shelf is not going to hurt your watches. If I travel with watches, I just stuff them in a sock.
