I started with Jerboa and then I switched to Connect. They both feel comparable...maybe Connect is a tad more intuitive.

Jerboa's last update or so has become really buggy for me and doesn't work the vast majority of the time. I have since dropped it and moved to connect which seems a lot more stable :)

I'm using Liftoff for now. Quite cool.

I prefer Connect, I did try Jerboa but find Connect more intuitive and familiar having migrated from RIF.

I prefer Connect.

Take a look at wefwef. App too

This question has come up a bunch lately, see rule #4. Also, you would probably have better luck in !android@lemmy.world or !android@lemmy.ml

Not sure if the recent bugs in Jerboa were fixed (at least not that I can see in my phone, so I can't use it at all), so I would say Connect.

However, wefwef looks and works amazingly well.

+1 recommendation for wefwef. Jerboa and connect both caused me crashes and connection issues. They're minor and I might go back after they fix them. Webapps are good stand ins for this website, but regular apps have their advantages.
