I really like playing worldbuilding games! I'm going to try The Ground Itself soon but I also play a lot of The Quiet Year. I was wondering if y'all have ones you like a lot that you'd like to share!

Loved Microscope the couple of times I played. It builds up a long history.

My group played through a mix of The Quiet Year and just home brew dnd but it was a blast. I loved building the world made me more interested as a player.

We also did some classic Grant Howitt one shots like the Honey Heist (which was super fun and funny) and Drunken Bear Fighter.

My personal goto is Numenera! Love the vibes it gives, makes building something easy

Oh I really want to see what else there is. I haven't heard of The Ground Itself before. The only ones I knew were The Quiet Year and Dawn of Worlds.

There's a bunch of Quiet Year variations too!

I really enjoyed Ex Novo. It's somewhat similar to The Quiet Year, but covers a longer timeframe.
