I specifically like to keep up with linux gaming news, so I have these two in my RSS feeds:

They just make good informative posts in general, not always relating to Linux.

The two I follow:
- Retro Game Mechanics Explained’s blog which has a bunch of deep dives into game mechanics (shockingly)
- The Dolphin emulator blog, because their progress reports are fascinating
The first looks exactly like what I was looking for, but does that site not have an RSS feed?
https://www.bluesnews.com/ is managed by one person going for over 20 years straight.
The site looks like it hasn't had a redesign in all that time, and I absolutely love it.
