Tribes:Aerial Assault. I loved that game. I miss jetpacking and skiing across those maps.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

Honestly, I wouldn't mind a remaster of Scooby-Doo: Night of 100 Frights, especially if it fixed that god forsaken water glitch.

Master of Magic - there have been some attempts at sequels but the never capture the spirit of the original.

Starflight - I played the genesis version, but I think there was a pc version. Many games have gone in this direction but the mining and economy were really good.

Twisted Metal 2 for PC.

I'd love a modern re-envisioning of Jumping Flash 2, that was my fav PS1 game back in the day. Cleaner controls and modern graphics/sounds would prob make it a really fun replay.

No one lives forever. Unfortunately no one seems to know who owns the rights anymore.

Red Dead Redemption as DLC for Red Dead Redemption 2. A good chunk of the map is already there!

Legacy of Kain games I loved them as a kid. I'd definitely love a remaster.

Blade of Darkness, the original souls-like that came out ten years before Dark Souls. It recently received a re-release that supports modern resolutions and controllers, which helps a lot, but the way these features were grafted on is as janky as the original underlying game.

I want to see Chrono Trigger get a HD-2D treatment.

It would be great to see an update of the Lunar RPGs from SegaCD and PSX too.

Burnout 3 Takedown

I'd be interested to see a modern version of Mercenaries

Skies of Arcadia - Would love an updated version of this on the Switch, or some other system. Especially if they can bring back Pinta's Quest, using a phone app or other small device.

Darkened Skye - Though I'm probably one of the few who actually enjoyed this.

Devil May Cry 1 and 3 (fuck DMC 2)

MGS 1 and 2

RE Code Veronica, and maybe imo RE 5 and 6 to polish and make them better (I just love the RE Engine)

Left 4 Dead

All of Half Life

Prototype 1

That's it for me.

Edit: format

[–] eudoxus@lemm.ee 1 points 2 years ago

..and not forget about Outpost!

[–] Oneeightnine@feddit.uk 1 points 2 years ago

Don't think this will be a popular opinion, but give me Star Fox Adventures with some shiny graphics and maybe a few modern QoL improvements already!

Planescape: Torment would probably do pretty well with modern quality-of-life features. The story is still amazing but it's hard to recommend to people who can't tolerate the mechanical clunkiness.
