i dont know why but with firefox on linux when im watching a youtube video i like to adject the volume abit and when i go to watch a different video my set default app volume for firefox in pavucontrol goes from 75 to 64 how do i fix this?

If you're using Ubuntu, try to re-install firefox via the mozilla team ppa. I'll link the AskUbuntu thread on how to do that in a little while.

The snap package, ime, has some weird bugs like that. For me the tabs would freeze sometimes and I had to restart the browser.

**The freezing still happens for me, but so far, not as much. :(

ok thank you so much cause ive been asking around different linux treads for awhile now and had no luck in finding a fix for this i dont know why this is even happining even tho im using a flatpak

Another problem is extensions like expressvpn and keypass won't work, probably due to the sandboxing.

I see from another comment that you're using flatpak; though, if you're using Ubuntu it will probably install firefox via snap anyway, or 'update' to the snap version. Good luck.
