Mark NSFW please! Thanks
Anime and Pics
A community dedicated to the discussion of anything surrounding:
- Anime
- Manga/Manhwa
- Light/Graphic Novels
- Visual novels
- And hentai.
While we may be called Anime and Pics, it doesn't have to be a Picture! Asking about your favorite anime, new episodes, new chapters, or latest games are encouraged!
We are a NSFW allowed community.
NSFW Rules:
- Anything safe for the public is considered SFW. (Swimsuits, croptops, cosplay etc.)
- Everything else; lingerie, panties, bras are NSFW and should be tagged as such.
- If you are unsure if it is SFW or not, err on the side of caution and mark it as NSFW.
Rules
- No politics/conspiracies
- Don’t repost anything from our top 100 of all time.
- There is zero tolerance for trolls, assholes, unsolicited bots, deliberately off-topic content, or novelty accounts. If you are any of these, and act as such, or encourage any of the above or any other violations, you will be banned.
- Doujinshi is allowed and encouraged! Show us your best (or worst) artwork!
- Moderators have the last say on all matters but will attempt to be fair
- This community follows the general Code of Conduct
Note:
- We have a bot called
dailyanime
which posts pictures daily. Their content may be ecchi.
Swimsuits are SFW.
You don’t understand what NSFW means then.
Ah. Yes this is the perfect excuse for when my coworkers and managers walk by.
What job do you have that your company pays you to look at Reddthat/Fediverse? Are you hiring?
I work as a software dev. I occasionally browse lemmy but I don't "get paid to look at it".
But you are doing it while you are "at work"? So you are using company time to look at fediverse content.
Not necessarily. It's in my contract that I can take short breaks whenever and that includes looking at my phone.
Where do you work that you don't seem to have a single shred of freedom?
Oh that's super nice!
That's why I asked if they were hiring. Sounds like a nice place to work. I work at a job that doesn't allow me to have non-work time during my allotted on-work time. ie 9-5.
Obviously I agree that this is definitely on the riskier side of the line, whether it crosses into NSFW territory is unfortunately dependant on everyone's own definition.
See the other comment(s) from Red that go into detail regarding what is going to be done regarding the future of the community and the riskiness.
Removing the post at this time would not be for the benefit of the community when we can have active discussions on what we want the community to become.
Unfortunately I have a feeling that some of the commenters here are from All and are not active subscribers. So they may not be used to seeing content like this. They also may not understand the difference between instances and the nuances with federation.
Edit: This is the comment from Red regarding what we are going to do: https://reddthat.com/comment/2250572
Featured because now we have RULES (See the new sidebar)
tl;dr **To curb your criticisms, anything not marked as "General" from our image sources will be set as NSFW from now on. **
And we are up to 6 reports for a post that is 2 hours old. All reports were pretty much all, "please mark this nsfw", and they all have literally 0 posts and 0 comments. Pro/Annoying tip: Only the content poster can edit anything in the post. Which is kind of annoying for moderators. The only thing moderators can do is delete the post.
As you might be hikikomori and don't go outside. There are things called beaches and pools. That is were people wear swimsuits of this nature. This is a valid post and is only slightly NSFW.
FYI: This content rating was "Sensitive" (that is what the ratings[‘s’]
means in the body of the post. But it didn't evaluate correctly). Where the bot gets the posts there are four tiers.
- Explicit (NSFW) Example,
- Questionable (NSFW) Example,
- Sensitive (was SFW by the bot, is now NSFW) This post,
- General, (SFW) Example
Outcome:
From now on, anything that is not General will be marked as NSFW.
