I really love the original video game. It’s so relaxing and has a great soundtrack. I love playing for a bit on my lunch break or when I need to unwind.

That being said, my main concern is that the management and tracking needed for a tabletop version might take away from that aspect of it. I’m a sucker though, and might get it anyway…

Update: I bought it 🤓

Report back on how it is!

Are the tabletop rules a pretty faithful adaptation of the computer game? I owned the original game for a while based on some hype from Danny O'Dwyer, but it just did not hook me. I played the game for at least an hour and it never became anything more than "place some tiles". Idk if I was doing something wrong, because the management and tracking aspect of this board game implies that there was more happening behind the scenes with the computer game.

It should arrive later this week, so I’ll add an update comment. As for the video game, there is a good amount of strategy if you want to keep getting more tiles and completing the “quests.”
