I use steam almost exclusively but sometimes look around in itch.io when I have nothing better to do

- 3: No untagged game spoilers. If the game was recently released or not released at all yet, use the Spoiler tag (the little ⚠️ button) in the body text, and avoid typing spoilers in the title. It should also be avoided to openly talk about major story spoilers, even in old games.
GNU bash
Actually I've only use Steam. But I thought of making some short of CLI launcher in bash or shell script. In order to play and keep organized my native, non-steam, Linux games.
GOG is my go to launcher. I’ll also try to buy games on there before steam if they’re available
Steam. I know this is kind of silly but I pretty much stopped playing Rocket League because it annoyed me so much having to log into Epic Games' separate launcher and keep the launcher logged in and updated as well as the game itself. GTA: Online requires a Rockstar launcher but it isn't very intrusive so I don't mind it.
I use Playnite.
Back in 2019 I wrote a small CLI launcher in Rust (rusteam on GitHub). At this point it has barely any features and is poorly written, but I have plans to return to it.
Lutris and steam mostly. Sad that Lunix users get no love from GOG
Steam have given me the better compatibility. Lutris has disappointed me too many times. On rare occasions I use Heroic Game Launcher, itch, and Minigalaxy.
I used gog galaxy 2.0 until steam support died one day then switched to playnite. Took a lot more configuring but it's p robust and I'm techy enough to have figured it out, I like where I landed but galaxy 2.0, if it works again, is a great option.
