Example: “You’re easily amused,” usually said in a condescending tone.

Well… yeah. I don’t want to be someone who’s difficult to amuse, and hardly ever laughs at anything. I know the implication is that I’m simple minded and can only enjoy lowbrow humor, but to me, it sounds like person calling me “easily amused” is the one with the problem enjoying life.

I appreciate a simple, silly joke, and the goodwill behind it - someone wanting to share something they thought was funny. Of course, I like nerdy inside jokes, but there’s nothing wrong with a bean meme, either.
