Give it some time, you'll start to see more and a bigger variety of posts. Additionally, change your sort of posts once in awhile, and enable the "all" selection and you'll see a bigger variety of posts
Well for one there's less on a page for your brain to process at one time, and for two, dyslexia has nothing to do with eyesight so you may also just have dyslexia, it's a common co morbidity with ADHD
Not sure how common this is, but I know as a kid this was caused by my ADHD, and it would cause me to take twice as long to read a book
On my other accounts I am currently moderating 7? Limmy subs, I moderate 8 reddit subs, some with over 100k subs.
I'm a dev in my day job, so as far as moderation needs, I can begin to make things to interface with the lemmi API to make moderation easier. I hope to create an automod equivalent in the future.
I'd love to moderate this sub!
Actually, you can already search across several instances, so, I would assume if it's not already a feature, it's coming soon.
A lot of the bots and things that made reddit much easier to mod just haven't been developed yet for lemmy. Thosw bots are what makes losing the API bad in the first place. Someone needs to essentially develop an automod equivalent to moderate comments. If I have free time I plan to start working on something.
I would look at the rules of the sub on reddit, most of them exist for a reason. If you have questions, ask a mod, or someone else on lemmy/reddit. I mod on another reddit and lemmy account of mine.
Feel free to reach out if you have questions.
I think the real solution is to have something similar to an rss feed that can aggregate several different instances of the "same" sub. Like maybe a central server, but it only has the info to gather data from all other servers or something
agreed, I missed the old slower reddit, this feels like that again, it's kind of nice
