Saw a post that mentioned Netscape Navigator , blast from the past. I remember it being so cool.

It's absolutely unreal how influential Netscape was in popularizing the web and really the entire Internet. Before Netscape, there was no https, no Javascript, no rendering on the fly, no cookies. I mean two of those were not the greatest inventions, but you can't deny how influential they were in setting the standard.
