What a surprise that the guy who thinks the Democratic party should primary a sitting Democratic president should be aligned with Russia on the matter of Ukraine. I may die from the shock.

The Russians have always had really commendable spycraft. I never thought they'd get a president. That was wild...

But, to go back to that well again so soon? They must be running out of ideas.

I think if we've learned anything over the past year or so, it's that originality is not their forte.

They have loads of ideas. Can I sabre rattle my way to victory? Can I run a country like a mobster? What about like a cult? Can Godwin's law be a casus belli?

So many ideas. They're bound to have a good one eventually.

I’m just surprised of all the attention this guy is getting. There’s nothing compelling about him and his ideas are trash.

He has a name people recognize even without ever recognizing him.

I'm like 99% sure that name recognition is one of the two important reasons people vote for a candidate; the other is party affilation.

Being a Russian asset has its perks, among which are the services of their comrades in the media machine.

It'd be useful if he had a real actionable path out of this, it's all good and well to say that we need a peaceful solution but that's hardly something we can declare unilaterally.

Really he's only making this statement to name-check his uncle. If he had some grand plan to offer Putin something he could present as a small victory domestically then that might help, but I can't really come up with a golden bridge he can retreat over. Putin's the one that needs humiliated here, but that's also the end of him.

The only attention I see him getting are from alternative medicine whackjobs that are voting for Trump anyways. He seems to have no appeal to anyone who actually votes for Democrats.
