Not thrilled about adult swim or “grownup” fans. If this ends up being Rick and Morty but with Adventure Time characters, then I will pass. Adults can enjoy television, even animation without hearing an f-bomb every 30 seconds and without references to sexual organs.

The release date for Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake has yet to be revealed by Max, but it has an expected premiere window of fall 2023.
Since fionna and cake are gender-swapped finn and jake, and the villain 'wants to erase them'... im hoping this will be awesomely trans positive
This sounds pretty interesting! Does anyone know if it'll be easy to watch for people who haven't seen Adventure Time?
Having not seen this show yet, I expect it will be ok to watch without having seen Adventure Time.
Theses characters existed in a genderswaped fanfic one of the characters in the show wrote. There will probably be some Easter eggs for people who have watched Adventure Time, and maby some Adventure Time spoilers.
Very hopeful! Very cautiously, carefully and reservedly very hopeful.
