What sorts of tools/apps/programs/etc do people use to journal or record their solo adventures? I would love to have a fancy notebook and roll physical dice but being realistic I think something I could run on my Android as either a web or native app and handle both dice rolls and journaling would be ideal. I'm currently considering RoleGate since I use it for some PBP games with moderate success but I'd love to hear what other people use or have considered, either as all-in-one or standalone journals/dice/etc to make a complete system.

I try to avoid screens while playing (phone or computer), otherwise I will get dragged into something else between notifications, links and etc. That's my attention span.

Sometimes if I have no other option for one reason or another, I have Adventuresmith and Mythic GME 2e on my phone (Android). The amazing amount of oracle's available is more than enough for my needs (even if I still keep looking for more, but that's my hoarder side).

For me I've experimented with using Obsidian (a note taking app with plugins) and a private Discord sever with a dice rolling bot. I have't tried RoleGate looks interesting.

I can definitely help with this! My favorite app is called Adventuresmith, and it has tons of randomly generated content for use with all kinds of different systems! I'm terms of browser, Donjon is my #1 go-to. It's amazing stuff, tbh, check it out!

It's a dilemna for me. I would like my solo sessions to be time without screens which lrans pen and journal. But then i have to have them with me.

I looked for a time at harpy.gg . But for now, I am on paper.
