I wanted to report a problem I've been facing on the Beehaw desktop website and Jerboa. Often, when I upvote a comment or post, the upvote doesn't seem to register properly.

On the desktop website, after I upvote something, I later realize that my upvote hasn't been recorded. This happens quite frequently. The same issue occurs on Jerboa as well. Sometimes, I see a timeout error message, while other times, there's no message at all.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is it related with the server load?

I've definitely seen other Beehaw users say the same thing today. I assume the server is overwhelmed. Lemmy.world currently has the strongest server I think. That's a part of why I picked here.

Ha, I actually had this exactly problem upvoting this very post on jerboa. I noticed it too, both on jerboa and on the website, I have to double click it for it to register.

I've been having issues replying to some comments as well as having this up vote issue. Probably server being stressed.

Hey, I know this is an old post, but did you ever figure out what was going on? Did it fix itself for you? I've been having trouble for about a month with upvoting giving an error in Memmy or just flat out not going through on desktop.
