I'm not sure if Reddit gave an ability to do this, because I never liked how somebody could see your entire post and comment history. An option to hide this information would be appreciated.

I'm not sure how possible that even is, with the way federation works.

Maybe when your user info is sent to other instances it could say "oh and pretty please don't let people see my history", but there's no way to actually enforce such a thing.

Even if I'd like it, I think it would encourage trolls/toxic behaviour too much, even it the history were to be only visible by mods. People need to think they will be held accountable for what they say, even if just a bit.

Good point. Hmm what if userprofiles only stored the last ten posts/comments of a user? That would give a picture of one's character without showcasing all of one's interests and stories.
