How are people accessing this? I'm using Jerboa for Lemmy because it was the first result in the app store. I'm honestly a little disoriented.

I'm just using Firefox, but that's how I access Mastodon and Reddit and everything else anyway.
So the guys developing Lemmy are feeling a bit caught off guard with this reddit migration. The lead dev has mentioned it was bad timing because they hadn't yet got the performance enhancements finished that they had been working on. A week ago there were only 1,000 users that had been online in the last month. That's likely to hit 10,000 in the next few days.
Anyway what I'm getting at is Lemmy is new, and seeing a surge earlier than perhaps was hoped (though you can't plan these things). Because Lemmy is new, there is only Jeboa, the Android app made by the Lemmy developers. If you're on iOS, there is also only one (and it's a bit trickier to install, as I understand it, as it's not on the app store).
The only alternative to these right now is the website, but that's not necessarily bad. From your mobile browser you should be able to save the site to your home screen as a Progressive Web App. This means it's actually just a webpage, but your phone displays it as if it's an app (hides browser stuff). Lots of people say this is working better for them than the apps.
It's damn cold today, I am eagerly awaiting our brunch spot to open to get a tasty treat for this morning.
Good call on brunch, we went for a walk into town and had brunch at Field & Green, very tasty.
We're both horribly jet-lagged (got back from a trip to Europe yesterday), so a snooze at some point this arvo is likely.
I do like Field and Green!
Afternoon snooze was my day yesterday. I can totally recommend.
I do like the crispness of the air this morning, and the golden rays of the early sun cutting thru the chill.
What's for brunch and which brunch spot (if you don't mind sharing ofc)?
It's The Good Spot up in Masterton.
I'll probably go for their aloo hash. But it's hard to pick a bad thing on the menu there.
Beautiful weather to hide inside all day watching Le Mans!
I've been up Whanganui way, heading back now. There's one hill wearing a cloud shower cap. I'd take a picture but the windshield is filthy.
I had a nap in the sun. It was nice out, about 5° warmer than inside haha
Damn that is a cold house!
