A few days ago now but haven't seen this discussed anywhere with the cyclone in the headlines but still important to keep an eye on what's going on. Another privatisation move because there is so much evidence to suggest that this is a good idea that will lower costs. Can only hope this doesn't go through.

I wonder which assets Rockliff, Ferguson and Barnett already have buyers lined up for?

Between this and DOGE lite it's fun that the Tasmanian populace will be paying for the stupidity of voting in the liberals for years if not decades. I can't wait to hear how we need to vote in the party of strong economic managers at the next state election from the entirely captured media.

Article is suggesting that they are looking at their Metro, Lands Title Office, their energy retailer and "Public Trustee's commercial will, estate and trustee services ". I'm sure that will go well, not public necessities at all.

Reeks of DOGE wannabes for sure. Really hoping the influence doesn't spread too far, the long-term consequences will only hit once these pollies are relaxing in retirement.

Hey, Tassy gov should call Macquarie bank, the british are super pleased with how their privatised water assets have been maintained.

Well done Liberals. As the world turns away from largely failed neoliberal policies of privatisation, you guys just keep pluggin away. One day the markets bound to magically become free without any intervention from you.
