I was at a party and talked about how Burger King has veggie patties.

And this rando party goer interrupts to talk about how good meat is and can't imagine being submissive to vegetarians.

And I loudly said that it's what the doctor recommended to help with my cancer and the dude panicked and ran away.

It wasn't true but fuck that guy traumatize them back.

You just unlocked a memory.

It was early covid and I had to go to the DMV. I live in Tennessee. I was wearing a mask because I was a caregiver to a couple of very compromised people.

Some lady (in line with me, and at less than 6 feet) starts going off loudly about masks and how they're so harmful and you don't get enough oxygen and only stupid sheep wear them anyway. So I took it off and said, "Oh, man, such a relief to hear that. I got exposed at work but they're just so uncomfortable! I'm really glad they're more dangerous to wear than not to wear."

She turned white, stood there for maybe a minute, then left the building. I put the mask back on. Didn't pop positive for the first time for two more years but I sure hope that lady reconsidered some things.

A brand new truck for $37k?! Might as well be a dollar menu item

Ah, but this is the 5-150, not the F-150

Finally: metric burgers.
