Most of the time, my boss doesn't even notice when I'm working.
Socialism
Beehaw's community for socialists, communists, anarchists, and non-authoritarian leftists (this means anti-capitalists) of all stripes. A place for all leftist and labor news and discussion, as long as you're nice about it.
Non-socialists are welcome to come to learn, though it's hard to get to in-depth discussions if the community is constantly fighting over the basics. We ask that non-socialists please be respectful and try not to turn this into a "left vs right" debate forum by asking leading questions or by trying to draw others into a fight.

I've mentioned this before, but my employer is now tracking keyboard inputs, mouse movement+clicks+scroll wheel movement. Additionally, tracking changes of active applications.
Can confirm it causes anxiety and stress.
I hope more studies are done. I think stuff like this is only going to become more commonplace, and I think we need more regulations to prevent toxic work conditions.
Good study, findings aren't super surprising. Wish the n was a bit larger and wish there were more statistics in the analysis (hard to draw a conclusion with no p-values), but I suspect because the n was so small nothing met statistical validity. Either way it's an interesting look at additional/more data and I hope it inspires more in depth research.
