It's really bad and sad.

But fyi from what I have read the suspect was a friend of the model who had gotten into a fight, so the murder most likely it wasn't a hate crime.

Can I ask where you heard that? I've only seen it described as a hate crime, but then, that's the obvious conclusion you'd come to without any answers.
