Probably. But it's not as bad as I was addicted to Reddit. In some sense Lemmy has helped me though to get rid of that addiction.

Not having suggestion algos and customized feeds can sometimes be a good thing.
Lemmy is methodone or saboxin compared to the tainted heroin that is Reddit.
Somewhat... like i find ways to escape work and obligations even for a short while, to browse Lemmy ๐. Yeah, that seems like an additction ๐.
No, i can stop whenever i want. Oh no.
There's not enough content yet for me to be addicted, (un)fortunately.
I can stop using Lemmy anytime I want.
It's currently my preferred social media, but I'm definetly not addicted to it. Which is definetly a good thing to me. I'm trying to tone down mindless scrolling scrolling and do more purposeful browsing instead.
I'm sorting by New and refreshing all day.
Yeah, I do New all the time, don't know why people don't recommend that option more often ๐คท.
Personally I use Hot rather than New because of the sheer volume of posts that exist. It's kind of a disincentive to keep scrolling if the content gets generally less interesting and less commented on as you scroll.
My addiction to Reddit has been all but replaced by an addiction to Lemmy.
No, but im far more active here than i ever was on reddit. We are creating something great here
I guess?
๐ค
Yeah, stats are in that ball park for me as well ๐.
Yes
I have not visited Reddit for couple of weeks and I do visit Lemmy multiple times a day. So, yes? ๐
