Cats aren’t really fond of being forced into clothing etc. so this is basically animal abuse.
Nobody is fond of "being forced into clothing"... but you can put clothing on a cat as long as you don't restrict the whiskers, and tie it loosely enough that they can get out of it when they want. Some cats end up seeking the clothing to get into it, like they do with trying to get into bed, under a blanket, and similar.
that’s a pretty far leap to make. cats, like dogs, can be trained with positive reinforcement to accept and even enjoy doing tricks like wearing clothing for a short time.
