Waiting for Jujutsu Kaisen to come back, hoping Solo Leveling isn’t going to be badly adapted.

JJK is back! Next few episodes are a bit of a prequel but there's an episode up on crunchyroll already :)
JJK is a no brainer here, other than that i'm looking forward to more Mataraku Maou-Sama and Bungou Stray Dogs. I have no self control, so I'll also be watching every single bad isekai this season. Helck is crazy good as a manga but IDK if the anime will go for long enough to get into the interesting parts of it, so i'll chalk that down as a "maybe when i hear how other people like it 6 episodes in".
this time around the bad isekai looks to be "jitsu wa ore, saikyou da", "Level 1 dakedo Unique Skill", "The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior" for which i went with the english title because its long as hell, and of course the vending machine anime where the guy gets reincarnated as a vending machine.
Garbage isekai sounds so fun, that's the kind of media I'd watch with friends if I had a group of people that were interested in watching garbage lmfao. I love watching Mother's Basement on youtube and i get my fill of garbage shows from him but I am ever tempted to jump into the garbage heap myself
Sometimes I like watching garbage just because it is garbage.
This season seems there is a continuation of Masamune-kun's Revenge and that is when I realised there was a previous season to it released around 3 years ago. Show is utter garbage, but I still watched the first season.
Link to help people find shows for the season!
I think I wanna try ZOM 100 - I've heard it's a pretty interesting one, hopefully it delivers.
Otherwise, not a show but looking forward to How Do You Live?!
thanks for the link! Was just about to search for something like that.
Just finished watching the first Zom 100 episode and I don't think you'll be disappointed - the direction and animation both felt incredible!
I really enjoyed ZOM 100, I think it'll adapt really well to being animated.
I forgot the season already started, but there isn't really anything that interests me besides the new Horimiya spinoff. I'll probably just catch up on Chainsaw Man and a couple other recent seasonals.
I believe Bleach TYBW Part 2 is coming out this summer? Looking forward to that.
Outside of my slice of life romcoms, the one I'm most looking forward to this season is Helck: Shortly after the Demon King is defeated by the human hero, the demon realm holds a tournament to find the strongest demon to be their new leader. The twist is that a human hero shows up and starts crushing the competition. When asked about it he says he hates the humans, but the demons running the tournament can't help but think he's there to sabotage the event.
I am in no way a Manga or Anime person. I like nearly everything that I've seen, though, and I am looking forward to the second half of NieR Automata Ver1.1a.
Did you play the game?
Yep, didn't get all of the endings though.
I'm desperately waiting for The Apothecary Diaries to come out in the Fall season, but I'm really happy there's going to be more Horimiya and Devil is a Part-timer to tide me over. I'm also interested in Helck, the manga was great, and cautiously optimistic about the Rurouni Kenshin remake.
I think Summer 2023 is pretty lackluster. Only thing i wanted to watch is the vending machine isekai, having read the light novel some years ago, and only because it's absurd. I'll give other shows a try, of course, but i'm not looking forward to any shows in particular. I'm waiting for Autumn.
I am watching Gene of AI, a sci-fi show that’s started off nicely.
